Responsibilities
- Delight patients with personalized care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, medication adherence, and patient conditions
- Collaborate seamlessly with RNs and therapists to implement individualized care plans
- Create warm, supportive environments that promote patient independence and dignity
- Proactively identify and report changes in patient health status to clinical supervisors
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in home health or long-term care
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage
- Valid CPR certification and reliable transportation
- Exceptional communication skills with patients and families
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks safely
