Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare patients for treatment with proper positioning and equipment setup
- Perform sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records using our digital practice management software
- Coordinate treatment plans and educate patients on oral hygiene
- Order inventory and ensure clinical supplies are fully stocked
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Ohio radiography license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital X-ray systems and Eaglesoft software
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturdays
