Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and instrument sterilization
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal equipment functionality
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling and charting
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB credentials
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
