Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Perform precise dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient imaging records
- Implement OSHA-compliant sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Manage patient flow, prepare treatment rooms, and maintain clinical inventory
- Delieve post-procedure instructions and educate patients on preventive care
- Coordinate insurance verification and maintain HIPAA-compliant digital records
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and practice management software
- Excellent chairside demeanor with strong patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification with current credentials
- Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred
