Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care and interventions
- Document clinical encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Provide health education and reassurance to patients and families
- Manage patient flow for emergency department and urgent care services
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and crisis management abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Triage certification or equivalent training
