Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams and procedures, including instrument transfer and suction
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Perform sterilization and infection control procedures
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate dental records
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in Oklahoma
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong infection control and sterilization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional Saturdays
