Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Assist dentists during exams, fillings, extractions, and oral surgeries
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Order inventory and maintain organized supply rooms
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental practice
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends/evenings
