Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument transfer and patient monitoring
- Take digital dental X-rays and impressions as directed
- Manage patient scheduling and chart documentation accurately
- Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Order inventory and maintain clinic supplies efficiently
- Train new staff on clinic protocols and software systems
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a dental setting
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Nevada state dental radiography license
