Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment according to strict protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Process and update patient medical records and charting information accurately.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education to patients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary clinical environment.
- Greet patients and manage the front desk flow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA, CDA, or DANB) preferred.
- Current CPR and BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual dexterity tasks.
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
