Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during examinations and treatments using four-handed dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiography certification required).
- Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately.
- Guide patients through their visit, explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program.
- Current Dental Assistant License (RDA) and X-ray certification in the state of Kansas.
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
