Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures.
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and treatments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) accurately and safely.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Manage dental inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Answer phones and greet patients in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Nevada.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment.
- Reliable transportation.
