Responsibilities
- Perform 4-handed dentistry and chairside assisting during examinations, procedures, and cleanings.
- Prepare treatment rooms with instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Greet patients and manage patient records accurately and efficiently.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB RDA/COA preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform fine motor tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety.
