Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and material handling
- Perform chairside support, patient education, and post-operative care instructions
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Take dental impressions, expose X-rays, and process digital radiographs
- Coordinate treatment schedules and maintain accurate patient records
- Support inventory management and supply ordering for clinical operations
- Ensure optimal operatory setup and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Current RDA or DA license in California (or eligible to obtain)
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience preferred
- Certification in CPR and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft a plus)
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
- Positive attitude and team-oriented work ethic
