Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs accurately
- Manage patient charts and digital records efficiently
- Provide chairside support with suction and instrument transfer
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and supply inventory
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license in Arizona
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficient with digital X-ray systems and Eaglesoft software
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and infection control
- Excellent communication and chairside manner skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours weekly (flexible days)
- CPR certification required
