Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document client observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises
- Administer medications under proper supervision
- Light housekeeping tasks and laundry services
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain detailed care records and communicate with healthcare team
Qualifications
- Alaska Home Health Aide certification required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable work ethic
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
