Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals
- Process insurance claims and manage third-party billing systems
- Prepare sterile compounds and maintain clean work environments
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license
- High school diploma or equivalent (PCT certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
