Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniquesAdminister prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Light housekeeping tasks and laundry services
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current North Carolina HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly/disabled clients
- Reliable transportation with auto insurance
