Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in client condition to care team
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client wellbeing
- Assist with mobility and safe transfer techniques
- Administer medication reminders per care plan guidelines
- Document care activities accurately and maintain client records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of home health aide or professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of senior care protocols and safety standards
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
