Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, and mobility support.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social outings.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (for client transport).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
