Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and determine medical urgency using standardized protocols
- Triage incoming calls and walk-in patients efficiently and accurately
- Provide clinical guidance and health education to patients remotely and in-person
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Document patient interactions and maintain detailed electronic health records
- Handle emergency situations with calm professionalism and decisive action
- Stay current with latest triage procedures and medical best practices
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years triage or ER experience in acute care setting
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish bilingual a plus)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
