Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer medication reminders and ensure medication adherence.
- Provide emotional support and companionship through conversation and shared activities.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
