Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers (wheelchair, walker, etc.).
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the Nursing Supervisor.
- Administer medications and remind clients to take their prescriptions.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Document daily care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
