Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as directed by the client and case manager.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Administer medications as prescribed and supervised by a registered nurse.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
