Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes, concerns, or accidents to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure medication is taken according to prescribed schedules.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social outings.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Certificate of Completion for a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Valid Texas driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
