Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Accurately measure vital signs and document patient histories
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab testing
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for patient record management
- Schedule appointments and handle insurance verification
Qualifications
- MA certification or graduate from accredited program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Flexibility to work 3-4 days/week (including weekends)
