Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Administer injections and medications per protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Michigan medical assistant license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week (flexible shifts)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
