Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy services
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate documentation
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam room inventory
- Facilitate patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate with billing and insurance specialists
Qualifications
- Current MA certification (AAMA, NCCT, or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week including weekends
- Attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Arizona state authorization to practice
