Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Manage patient electronic health records accurately
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Process lab specimens and maintain inventory
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
