Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, medical equipment, and supplies
- Perform vital signs measurements, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage patient records using EMR systems with precision and confidentiality
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications professionally
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Pennsylvania state license (if applicable)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
