Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, including vital signs, medical history reviews, and insurance verification.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) and documentation with high precision.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and preventative care.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage front-desk reception duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or NCMA preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR software (Epic, AthenaHealth, or similar).
- Reliable transportation and a professional appearance.
