Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Perform patient intake, vital sign measurements, and EKGs
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with Epic proficiency
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
Qualifications
- Active CMA or RMA certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Illinois CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings
