Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs measurement, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient flow and maintain examination rooms
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments
- Coordinate patient education materials
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid Colorado driver's license
