Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and medical history.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs under supervision.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage incoming communications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary examination room environment.
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations as required.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or MA preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or medical setting preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
