Responsibilities
Assist providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures. Perform and accurately record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.). Prepare examination rooms, sterilize medical equipment, and restock supplies. Manage patient intake, including updating medical records and verifying insurance information. Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a physician office or outpatient setting. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software and medical terminology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
