Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by reviewing their medical history and recording vital signs accurately.
  • Assist physicians and nurses during medical procedures, examinations, and minor surgeries.
  • Administer injections, medications, and perform basic lab tests (e.g., blood draws) under strict supervision.
  • Manage patient intake, update electronic health records (EHR), and ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinate appointment schedules, answer phone inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service to patients.
  • Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and preventative care plans.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment at all times.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is required.
