Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Perform vital sign measurements, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Sterilize equipment and prepare exam rooms for patient visits
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure smooth clinical workflows
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering
Qualifications
- Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) or graduate of accredited program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Tennessee state certification required
