Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time Medical Biller at MediBill Pro Solutions! We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage revenue cycle operations for our Phoenix-based clinic. Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean claims to insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service
- Post payments and adjustments in EHR system (Epic/Cerner experience preferred)
- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies through appeals
- Generate monthly aging reports and AR analysis for leadership
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Collaborate with clinical staff on documentation improvements
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience in outpatient setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Athena, eClinicalWorks)
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding guidelines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
