Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Maintain precise records using pharmacy software systems
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and NY pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Active NY Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
