Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and assist with patient billing inquiries
- Maintain precise patient records and medication documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service regarding medication counseling
- Adhere to all HIPAA and pharmacy regulatory compliance standards
- Assist with prescription preparation and compounding tasks
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician certification required
- 6+ months of pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
