Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Verify patient information and process insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
- Assist the pharmacist with medication counseling and answering patient inquiries.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure the pharmacy area is clean and organized.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software and computer systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
