Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws with precision and care.
- Greet patients warmly, explain procedures clearly, and ensure a comfortable experience.
- Label, process, and prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Verify patient identity and insurance information accurately before testing.
- Manage inventory of supplies and order necessary testing materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT or equivalent) required.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends or evenings as required by the schedule.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation.
