Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections following strict protocols
- Verify patient identity and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of specimens
- Adhere to OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize workflow
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (e.g., ASCP, NCCT)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
