Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with professional nursing standards and organizational policies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all actions.
- Monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions promptly and effectively to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, medication management, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain precise and confidential electronic health records (EHR) and other necessary documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and facility-specific policies and procedures.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients and their families, ensuring a comfortable and respectful environment.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an acute care or clinical setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant clinical software.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
- Flexibility to work varied part-time shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays, based on departmental needs.
