Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and report critical changes to the physician immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on post-care instructions and health maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
