Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status and administer medications/treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to patient emergencies and provide critical care support during assigned shifts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri (or compact state eligibility).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
