Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units with emphasis on assessment, monitoring, and intervention
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems ensuring regulatory compliance
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (unrestricted)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
