Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor patient conditions and document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge protocols
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations at all times
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based performance reviews
- Maintain precise medication administration records and inventory control
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
