Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN license (or compact license)
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care setting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work 24-32 hours per week with rotating weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
