Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status with appropriate interventions
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning activities
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care or specialty unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
