Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units with precision and empathy
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with strict adherence to protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and document assessments accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (compact license accepted)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing with 1+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; ACLS must be obtained within 90 days
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with EMR systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
